The mutton was the wrong cuts. More bone than meat. The meat was stiff, and unsavory. When they say pepper fry they really mean it. It was dipped in black pepper perhaps to disguise the stale meat.

I have never come across a restaurant that could go wrong with a Malabar prawns dish. But these guys did go wrong. The five large Malabar prawns sacrificed their lives in vain. The dark intestines in their spines still remained intact when i examined. The chef never bothered to remove them for those cautious Malayalee patrons who would expect them to be removed. The the whole thing was dipped in tomato paste. the kind you buy for 50 fils a can.

Instead of spending all that money on fancy wood work and hand made stainless steel tableware, they should have hired properly trained chefs.

Excellent dum biryani. Slightly pricey but the quantity is large enough for two people. Worth a try.
