Dr Joy dentist dubai has bad history. His treatment is of very low quality. It's only matter of time he will be getting shewed. He even has a case against him in Bur Dubai police station for molesting lady staff. Anybody else has similar opinion of this man please express here. He always threatens his staff.

I went there because my orthodontic retainer got partially broken. Then Dr. Joy decided to remove the entire retainer, and get me a complete new one (of a mediocre quality, which I later found out, as I saw the material when it came off). After half year, the new retainer got broken and it came off pretty much completely, although I did not eat anything unusually hard or sticky. So I went back to Dr. Joy Dental Clinic and asked why it broke within such short time, then they said it was because of the way I bite my teeth, which they could have told me on the first place because they should have figured it out when they first saw how my teeth were biting. They then suggested that I get a new retainer, but a removable one in plastic, at an additional cost of AED 350!! Dr. Joy indicated that they were kindly giving me a 50% discount because the other retainer broke within a short period!! How ridiculous is that?! Firstly, it was Dr. Joy who decided to replace the entire retainer (though only a little piece was broken). Secondly, they should have seen on the first place that their retainer would not last long because of the way I bite my teeth. Last but not least, it could very well be that their retainer is of an inferior quality, because as I went to a different orthodontic clinic here in Dubai and explained the whole story, they told me their retainer should last for at least few years. I have not yet been treated by this other clinic, but they should have reasonable confidence in what they say. Their fares might be slightly lower, but their service and orthodontic treatments are definitely not up to standard. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone!
