Can I store my location, so I can search for something nearby me?
A: If you log in, you can add locations to your profile, such as home, office or so. With these, you can search for places nearby home. Even more, by selecting where you are currently, you can indeed search for please nearby me.
Is places.ae only for the UAE?
As .ae indicates a site for the United Arab Emirates, we are finishing implementations for other countries. These will have another domain name, obviously. The platform where places.ae is built upon is very flexible and allows agile and rapid implementations for other areas.
My favorite bar/pub/school is not listed, can I add it?
A: Yes, and please do so. This website is a community based, so it relies on information that *you* (the user) provides. Listing here will expose your shop to a wider audience, and potential customers.

A: We cover quite some places, and we add several places every few days, but we might always miss out some. Please search for it on the home page, if it's not there, feel free to add it.
